South Yorkshire Directory

The county of South Yorkshire is located in the Yorkshire and Humber region of England. South Yorkshire shares borders with the counties of Derbyshire, West Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, East Riding of Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.

The county of South Yorkshire is divided into four districts; these being the City of Sheffield, the Borough of Doncaster, the Borough of Barnsley and the Borough of Rotherham. The two largest cities in the South of Yorkshire are Sheffield and Rotherham. Other main towns and cities include Barnsley, Bentley, Cheltenham and Doncaster not forgetting the town of Chapletown.
