Merseyside Directory

The metropolitan county of Merseyside is located in the North West region of England. Merseyside shares borders with the counties of Cheshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester. Major towns within the county of Merseyside include Liverpool, Southport and Bootle.

The county is divided up into five districts which include Liverpool, Sefton, Knowsley, St Helens and Wirral. Merseyside is split into two parts by the Mersey estuary; the parts are The Wirral on the west side of the estuary and then the rest of the county on the east.
