The Change Has Started

We are please to announce that the proposed changes to ImAfter has now started! The new UK based local business directory has begun, as has a new section to help people search for food.

In the main directory the pages for the Southampton Directory and Portsmouth Directory have now been created while the food sections back end is virtually complete.

Other proposed sections will include holidays, hotels, property, cruises, in fact you name it, it will happen. Also both sites will become ad free; therefore will offer unbiased advice on products and services.

As the new site develops, updates will appear here; the plan of action means that the website changes will take around a year to do. Then the US version; this website; will be started to create a worldwide ImAfter presence.

Manchester Web Design

We may actually have our first client in the Manchester Directory, it is from a Manchester Web Design company who are looking for local business directories to gain links to their website. ImAfter is a little more than a link directory; the way that we have set the site up means that any member such as the potential Manchester Web Design company will benefit by gaining some link juice from us. They will also benefit from being the sole occupier of a page that is designed to rank high for localised search results.

Greater Manchester Directory

The Greater Manchester Directory is being updated to the latest version of ImAfter with the Golborne Directory and the Whitefield Directory being the first two towns to receive the updates. This is part of ongoing updates throughout the website.

The updates to the Greater Manchester Directory will be useful for people such as anyone offering Web Design in Whitefield or TV Repairs in Golborne.

Local Business Directory

After a brief spell in the top 10 in Google for Local Business Directory we have mysteriously dropped to no where yet if the UK button is pressed we are 8th. Google is still having problems sorting out the UK biased websites from the US ones, this first came to light on Drabdesign, the search engine optimization website of ours on the day Bing went live.

Ranking high for local business directory is our first goal, once this has been achieved the aim will swiftly move onto the term businsss directory and then onto, well I guess you get the drift.

We have two new memebers of this Local Business Directory and a couple of posts will follow about the new clients.

Ramsgate Directory

Any company wanting to get into the Ramsgate Directory can do while it is still free, though be aware, there will be a small for for inclusion in the Ramsgate Directory at some point in the future.
