I recently needed the help of a plumber and living in such a large city as Southampton I didn’t really know where to look so I decided that I would try the internet. During my search for a Southampton plumber I came across an amazing business directory called the “I’m After Business Directory”. It was from using this business directory that I found a plumber who promptly came out and fixed my leak.

I then took a closer look at the Southampton Directory; each town is a mini directory within the main site and found that there was more than 130 different search terms in Southampton alone. This impressed me no end!

I’d never really used a business directory before but it was really easy to navigate around and I could search for almost anything from hairdressers to carpet fitters, oven cleaners to music teachers and many other useful terms.

Although not complete it is obvious that in the long term about 500 towns will be covered within the directory, my first impression is that Hampshire is the early main focus, with both the Southampton directory and the Portsmouth Directory being well served.

London Directory Added

The London Directory has been added finally, though trying to work out what areas to use has caused a few concerns. Each area of London has about 200,000 people, so going for towns like Romford Directory or the boroughs such as Brent Directory had to be sorted.

Now we have the bases of our London Directory and will add to it over time.
